This quilt is made of hand woven wool, created on a hand held "weavette" loom, and on a 4- harness table loom.  My aim was to make something completely original, of my own creation.  For a weaver one of the greatest challenges is to cut into the fabric one has carefully made;  I bravely cut my fabric into quilt pieces and reassembled them into a dancing pattern, "square in a square".   The quilt is machine pieced and quilted, and lined with purple flannel.  This is the quilt I imagine wrapped around me years from now, when I am in my rocking chair at 99.
