This work reflects the serene effect of the plowed hills in summer, and their orderly recession up the valley. I love the pastoral landscape of where I live, and the farmers who work in solitude through the seasons, bringing the potential of the land to realization. The process of tapestry is a slow one, but it seemed appropriate to depict the gradual passing of the farmer's summer season.
