All across the country there are farms like this, falling down, abandoned, yet still beautiful, and full of evidence of the hard lives and hard work of our forbearers.  I wanted to preserve the place. This picture is all that remains of it; developers came in, new houses were built, and Franklin's Farm is now a memory, if only for me.
