When I am Flying

One can't help but look out the window, in a window seat, when one is flying. And the patterns down below fascinate! Flat land looks like quilt patches, but where I live, the land looks more like cosmic worms have been at work. The horizon shrinks and expands and the flat earth looks round and rounder, it is all confusing and yet reassuring, beneath me.
