Madame Emmaline is  a collection containment that I created to give a home to an abandoned doll that found me.  I made for her a beautiful outfit with lacy undergarments, a little gypsy shelter, and then gave her a teddy bear for company.  As I worked on her things, she told me her story.

The Seer

It is not always light, to be enlightened:
sometimes darkness shines in a way that blinds.
It is never easy to go a higher way, to know a further day
and see that you have been caught in between.
Sometimes wisdom comes within great grief: 
an unwanted release-- the death of dreams, so that we can see.
It is not for us to know where we will go.

Her tent is made of recycled materials, trims and laces, silk ties, metallic lace, shisha mirrors, sewn over a wood and board foundation.
