Sky Haven is a collection containment that takes the form of a little pueblo building.  It was made to hold turquoise and silver jewelry with a Native American flavor.  The walls are of hand dyed cotton over board, supported by dowel and wood panels.  The steps pull out to hold pins, and there are little drawers below the steps.  The box revolves to gain access to the main compartment in back, where baskets and boxes of treasures are piled up, with earrings and rings tucked in the rafters.  This container was great fun to make, and involved research into adobe construction and visits to historic sites in the southwest.

The container is about 12" wide, 10" deep, and 10" high.
